We will start our day by visiting the Cristo Rei which is located on the south bank of the Tagus River and where you can admire the most beautiful view of Lisbon. Then we will head towards Évora through the Alentejo plains where you can observe for miles Olive and Cork trees as well as Vineyards. Évora is a true museum city, considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986. Its walls keep streets and buildings virtually unchanged over the centuries where we visited the city and its monuments. We will also visit a cork factory one of the greatest riches in the entire region as well as the possibility of a wine tasting of the region. Time for lunch in one of Alentejo's many restaurants. In the afternoon we will leave for Arraiolos. Arraiolos carpets with centuries of history hand embroidered by generations of embroiderers are part of Portugal's best known handicraft.
