You enter Moscow metro - the most beautiful underground transportation system in the world. Your guide will give you basic information on its history, current structure and development, ticketing and access policy. In a few minutes you will enter your first station and start your fascinating trip in this underground world.

Stop At: Metro Station Komsomolskaya, Komsomolskaya sq., Moscow Russia

Komsomolskaya is the busiest station of Moscow metro being a gateway to 2 lines (Red and Circular) and 3 big train stations (trains leaving towards St petersburg, Yaroslavl and Kazan). The station has 68 monumental rectangular columns. The ceiling of the station is decorated with colorful ornament narrating the speech of Joseph Stalin at the grand war time parade of 1941.

Stop At: Belorusskaya Metro Station, Tverskaya Zastava Sq., 1, Moscow 125047 Russia

Belorusskaya metro station is one of the deepest and largest stations of Moscow metro. Being a gateway to 2 metro lines and a large train station, it features classic Soviet marble architecture and the famous large monument in honor of Belarus guerilla fighters during World War II.

Stop At: Mayakovskaya Metro Station, Triumfalnaya Sq., Moscow 125047 Russia

Mayakovskaya station with its huge hall is built in art deco modernist style and got a prestigious Grand Prix prize at the World Exhibition of 1939 in New York. The station is 15 meters wide and outstanding 156 meters long. During World War II it used to be a bomb shelter and now it occasionally hosts night concerts of classical music.

Stop At: Okhotny Ryad, Manezhnaya sq, 1/2, Moscow 125009 Russia

You will be able to visit 2 connecting stations - Okhotniy Ryad and Teatralnaya. Both are located deep under ground in the very heart of Moscow - next to Kremlin and the Red Square. The interior of Teatralnaya station is decorated with figures of people of different nationalities of the Soviet Union dancing or playing different musical instruments. If you exit from this station, you get to the world famous Bolshoi Theatre.

Stop At: Victory Park, Bratyev Fonchenko st., 7, Moscow 121170 Russia

It is considered the deepest station of Moscow metro - its stairs go down almost 130 meters. It is known for its monumental architecture reminding of World War II and the war against Napoleon as the station is the gateway to the national Victory Park commemorating the Russian heroes of these great wars.

Stop At: Kiyevskaya Metro Station, Kiyevskogo Vokzala sq., 1, Moscow 121059 Russia

The station is dedicated to friendship of people of Russia and Ukraine as it is next to Kiev railway station from where there are train departing towards Ukraine. There are a number of colorful paintings of men and women in national Ukrainian costumes at this station.

Revolution Square metro station is one of the most iconic with its legendary 76 bronze statues representing a real Palace of the Soviet people
