On the Terazije square in the beginning of the 20th century the hotel Moskva was built and it still represents on of the most beautiful buildings in Belgrade in secession architectural style. In front of the hotel is the Terazije fountain from 1860.

Explore the Kalemegdan park and the Belgrade Fortress with the remains of the ancient city of Singidunum, today Belgrade. The city was founded by a Celtic tribe in the 3rd century BC. From the 1st century AD Singidunum was an important fortress and town, a Roman colony on the military frontier between the Roman Empire and barbaric Eastern Europe.

Visit the magnificent Cathedral of St. Sava, the largest Orthodox church in the Balkans, dedicated to to St. Sava the founder of the Serbian Orthodox Church. The temple was built on the spot where the holy relics of Saint Sava were burned down by the Turkish vizier Sinan Pasa in 1594.
