Today your Safari Adventure begins! You will meet the Kruger transfer at O.R. Tambo International Airport in the morning and they will bring you to the Wild Planet Team in Hazview, a small town outside of Kruger. Here you will meet your guide and enjoy a light lunch, we will then take a slow game-drive to Skukuza camp and you can enjoy lunch down by the Sabie River. You will be staying at Skukuza for 2 nights in a Rondawel with 2 beds, en-suite bathroom, AC, fridge and a patio with table and chairs. The camp has a comprehensive shop, restaurant, laundry and swimming pool. Skukuza camp is situated on the banks of the Sabie River and is the perfect place to see animals come for a drink or for a relaxing fence-walk where you can walk around, spotting animals or just sit at a bench and enjoy the beautiful view.

This afternoon we take you out for a short afternoon drive for a chance to spot some South African wildlife. When we return to camp we will prepare dinner before you depart on a Kruger night-drive. A Kruger ranger will take you out with a big spotlight looking for nocturnal life. Many of the cats are active at this time and you can see lions, leopards, serval, and civet in addition to hyena, porcupine, honey badger and much more.

We will have breakfast when we return to camp and then you can enjoy a moment down by the Sabie River before we leave Skukuza and travel north to Satara.

On route to Satara we will stop for drinks at a beautiful picnic site. We will then continue north and travel through a few different lion territories with some well-known lion prides, if we are lucky we may see the rare white lioness. We will arrive at Satara in the middle of the day just in time for lunch. You will then have some time to relax, check out some of the camp facilities, before we depart on an afternoon drive to explore the area.
