Inverdoorn Private Game Reserve is situated only 2-hours, 30-minutes from Cape Town in the Tankwa Karoo. With thick wooden Acacia river beds and breathtaking golden mountain views, Inverdoorn provides one of the best Big 5 safari experiences near Cape Town.

Safaris are offered on its 10 000 hectare wildlife reserve with game drives guided by highly qualified game rangers in open safari 4 x 4 vehicles.

Arrive at Inverdoorn Private Game Reserve no later than 10:00 am for your Morning Safari Game Drive with chance encounters with the Big 5 animals namely Lions, Rhinos, Elephants, and Buffalos. You will also spot Giraffes, Cheetahs, and Antelopes. (Please note that Inverdoorn Game Reserve is approximately 2-hours, 30-minutes drive from Cape Town.)

Upon arrival at 10:00 am, you will receive a Welcome Drink at the entrance. Soon thereafter you will join a shared open 4x4 Safari Game Truck, as you set off on an exciting 2-hours, 30-minutes safari game drive. Time permitting you may enjoy a Giraffe bushwalk and a stop at the Lion Project. All game drives are led by an experienced game ranger who will share stories about the animals and their surroundings throughout the safari.

Upon your return from the game drive, proceed to the restaurant for a buffet lunch.

After lunch, spend some time of leisure around the pool, terrace or bar lounge to relax before returning back to Cape Town.
