Itinerary

Your guide will meet you at the iSimangaliso, Kosi Bay Mouth gate and take you on an informative bushwalk down to the estuary, informing you about the medicinal uses of plants, edible fruit and all the natural materials used in their culture.

At the Kosi Bay estuary you will be introduced to a local fish trap owner. With the translating of our guide he will explain the tradition and fishing method of the Traditional Fish Kraals.

The Kosi Bay Fish Kraals are made entirely of natural materials, a true old Tonga Tradition that have been in use for the last 800 years. If there is any fish in the traps you’ll get the chance of spearing your own fish for lunch or dinner!

From the Fish Kraals you will start your Kosi Bay Kayaking Adventure. You’ll be guided pass mangrove forests, fish traps and lots of bird life, whilst your guide will be telling you interesting facts about Kosi Bay.

After your Kosi Kayaking adventure its time to explore the wonders of the Aquarium! Snorkeling in this well known area is incredible with lots of colorful fish.

Ending your day off with a lovely relaxing lunch on the beach, a last swim and a slow walk back to your vehicle.
