The sunset safari departs promptly at 5pm from the Kruger National Park gates and will continue until 8pm, then your guide will return you to your resort.

Late afternoon is an extremely good time for game viewing. As evening approaches, nocturnal animals become active, and guests are able to experience a truly amazing African sunset.

Once the sun has set, and darkness sets in, the spotlights are switched on and the search for nocturnal animals begins. In the quiet of the darkness, guests can expect a different safari experience from that of the daytime, and as they become aware of their surroundings they will see smaller, more elusive, shy and rare creatures, not usually seen during the day.
