Day 1: Winelands tour

Day 2: Cape Point Tour, commonly referred to as the Cape Peninsula Tour

Stop At: Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point Rd, Table Mountain National Park 8001 South Africa
Cape Point is located about 1.2km east of Cape of Good Hope and is the most South Western corner of the African continent and the mythical meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian oceans. The scenic beauty of Cape Point is not its sole allure; it is also an international icon of great historical interest with many a visitor drawn to the area because of its rich maritime history. Named the ‘Cape of Storms’ by Bartolomeu Dias in 1488; the ‘Point’ was treated with respect by sailors for centuries. Coming to the aid of many sailors as a strategic navigational landmark by day, at night, the jagged rocks and violent storms of the point resulted in many shipwrecks being littered around the coastline.

Day 3: CAPE TOWN SAFARI TOUR

Over the years, the Aquila Private Game Reserve has gone to massive efforts and expense to source and re-introduce wildlife into the Cape region so that local residents and visitors alike can experience a Big five game drive and safari near Cape Town.

Since the Game Reserve was founded, its ethos has always been to educate guests on the importance of wildlife conservation, how it affects us all and what we as individuals can do to protect it and indeed the environment. The Game reserve is not just another luxury game reserve and lodge, its primary purpose is to offer an educational experience to all who visit in the hope that knowledge will enrich our understanding of the importance of living in harmony with Mother Nature.

The journey takes you to Aquila Private Game Reserve, a 4 star 7500 hectare conservancy in the Southern Karoo (Western Cape) and one of the best safari lodges near Cape Town. Enjoy welcome drinks and a hearty buffet breakfast upon arrival before Joining an experienced game ranger on a 2- 3 hr game drive around the game reserve before settling down to a buffet delicious buffet lunch. All safaris are in an open 4 x 4 safari vehicle, and is lead by an experienced guide, who will share inside-story facts about your surroundings.

The Big 5 – Elephant, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Rhino as well as Cheetah, Zebra, Giraffe, Springbok, Oryx, Hippo, Crocodile, Wildebeest, Eland and indigenous birds.

Day 4: WHALE WATCHING TOUR

Stop At: Gordon's Bay Main Beach, 4th Street, Gordon's Bay 7140 South Africa
We travel along the N2 towards Sir Lowry’s Pass where you can have a spectacular view of False Bay.

The focal point or “heart” of the Cape Whale Coast is the popular seaside resort of Hermanus, just a mere 2 hour drive south of Cape Town. It’s considered by many to be the “Best Land Based Whale Watching Spot In The World” where you can watch the Southern Right Whales basking in the waters of Hermanus. It is a beautiful town chosen by many living abroad as their second home. We will endeavor to let you see the giants from the sea, you will however, have the option at your cost to take a boat trip to see the whales at sea.

We visit the endangered African penguins at Stoney Point and if time permits we visit the Harold Porter Botanical gardens before we return back to Cape Town via scenic Clarence drive.
