Shore Whale Watching Day Tour to Hermanus the Whale Capital of SA from Cape Town

This is a general (scheduled) tour running daily from July to November. Pickup at 08h00. Groups up till 10 accommodated per tour.Focus will be on Whale Watching as well as Penguin Viewing from the rocks(the shore).This full day tour for families or friends traveling together or small private parties, takes you to the "Whale Capital" of South Africa. The town of Hermanus in Walker Bay is known for the Southern Right Whales arriving in July and departing in November.

The road takes you along scenic mountain passes and apple orchards and we arrive in Hermanus in time to watch whales from the rocks or an optional 2½ -hour boat whale watching excursion in Walker Bay(own account). More rock whale watching follows as we enjoy lunch at around 1:30pm. Continue your drive to Stoney Point for Penguin viewing. Another spectacular mountain drive follows as we head towards Cape Town for drop off at around 5:30pm.

After a comfort stop in the mountains the pass follows with the town of Botriver in view as well as the vastness of wheat- and conolafields in the distance.
