Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at ICN airport ➜ Hotel

Welcome to Seoul, the city that never sleeps, but don’t worry you’ll have plenty of time to sleep and overcome your jetlag as we swiftly take you to your hotel from the airport for a day of leisure and comfort in a private car/charter bus prepared at the airport.

Day 2: Seoul ➜ Nami Island ➜ Sokcho, an ideal location for vacationing and Healing retreat.

Stop At: Nami Island, 1, Namiseom-gil, Namsan-myeon, Chuncheon, Gangwon-do 24464 South Korea
we take Ferry to get to the Island - the shooting place of ‘Winter Sonata’, is famous for its beautiful tree lined roads. Since it is not far from Seoul, many couples and families come to visit.

Stop At: Sokcho, Sokcho, Gangwon-do
Sokcho had its own airport, linking the city to Seoul. The city still attracts many national and international tourists, not only because of Seorak-san but also because of its fine fishery products.

Day 3: Sokcho ⇌ Pyeongchang, host city Winter Olympics 2018

Stop At: Daegwallyeong Sky Ranch, 458-23, Kkotbatyangji-gil, Daegwallyeong-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do 25344 South Korea
(Haneul park) has a 40-year-old history with a huge ranch the size of 9 million square meters. Currently, about 400 Holstein cows are bred here along with one hundred hanu (Korean cow) in an environmentally friendly way. The ranch is proud to produce 1,400 tons of first-class milk per year and top quality Korean beef. The environment is well preserved and most of the area remains untouched by humans to bring you the best possible natural ranch experience. We take train operated by tractor, to look around places.

famous film shooting place for Korean Drama. We take a ‘Gaetbae’ boat operates on manpower (people pulling on ropes moving the boat across a waterway)

This bustling port has become one of the most popular tourist spots for those in search of the freshest raw fish restaurants.

Day 4: Sokcho ➜ Mt. Seoraksan ➜ Seoul, Fashion and technology forward but also deeply traditional.

Stop At: Seoraksan National Park, Sokcho, Gangwon-do South Korea
which offers breathtaking views and is the home of 2,000 animal species and more than 1,400 rare plant species. UNESCO Historical Site designated this national park a Biosphere Preservation District in 1982 and the park has become the most famous national park in Korea.

Stop At: Gwongeumseong Fortress, Seorak-dong, Sokcho, Gangwon-do 217-120 South Korea
Gwongeumseong Fortress is the site of castle ruins located on Seoraksan Mountain, and it is also known as Mt. Onggeumsan Castle or Toto Castle. It is located on the steep Dolsan Mountain of Seoraksan Sogongwon area. It is believed to have been built by the 23rd King of the Goryeo Period (918-1392), Gojong (r. 1213-1259). It is also called Gwon-Kim Castle, as there is a legend that two generals named Gwon and Kim, built the castle to avoid war.

Stop At: Sinheungsa Temple, Seosin-myeon, Hwaseong-si, South Korea
The history of Sinheungsa Temple started with the foundation of a temple called Hyangseongsa. In 652, the sixth year of Queen Jindeok’s reign during the Shilla Kingdom, Precept Master Jajang founded the temple in the place where Kensington Hotel is currently located. However, Hyangseongsa temple was burnt down in 698, in the seventh year of King Hyoso’s(687-702) reign. Three years later, it was rebuilt by Great Master Uisang at the site of the hermitage, Neunginam, which is now called Naewonam Hermitage. He then changed its name to Seonjeongsa Temple.

Day 5: Seoul ⇌ DMZ, where you can observe one country being divided into two.

Stop At: DMZ, Munsan-eup, Majeong-ri Imjingak Tourist information center, Paju, Gyeonggi-do South Korea
The highlight of today’s tour is the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone).

*Note: Must bring passport for ID check.
Located on each side of 38th parallel, this infamous border was established at the end of the war in 1953 at the signing Panmunjom’s armistice in order to separate North and South Korea.

Stop At: Dora Observatory, Jeomwon-ri, Gunnae-myeon, Paju, Gyeonggi-do 413-920 South Korea
Dorasan Station, a railway station on the Gyeongui Line, is the northernmost stop on South Korea's railway line. Located 56 kilometers from Seoul and 205 kilometers from Pyeongyang, the station was opened as a tourist attraction on April 4, 2002 right before the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup.

Stop At: DMZ The 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, South Korea, Gyeonggi-do, Paju-si, Gunnae-myeon, 점원리 산172
The 3rd Tunnel was discovered by South Korea in 1978. It spans over 1,635m in length, 2m in width, and 2m in height and is located 52km from Seoul. It is estimated that approximately 30,000 soldiers could move through the tunnel per hour. The scale is similar to the 2nd Tunnel, but it was thought to be more threatening as an invasion tool than the 1st and 2nd Tunnels. Located only 4km away from Imjingak toward the southwest and 3.5km from the Tongilchon area, it is accessible by car in approximately 45 min from Seoul.

Stop At: Insadong, Insa-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul South Korea
one of the most memorable attractions in Seoul. It represents the focal point of Korean traditional culture and crafts. Stores in Insadong specialize in a wide variety of goods that can only be purchased or appreciated in Korea.

Day 6: Seoul ⇌ Suwon, known nationally for being the only city to retain its historic city walls.

Stop At: Hwaseong Fortress, 910, Jeongjo-ro, Paldal-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi-do 16253 South Korea
it is the best of Korean traditional architecture designated as World cultural heritage by UNESCO. In other words, Haenggung, meaning detached palace, is a palace built within the walls of Hwaseong to house King Jeongjo when he was away from his palace in Seoul worshipping at his father's tomb. When he was not in residence it was used by his delegated official as a base of government. The palace was built in 1789, but was expanded between 1794 and 1796 to house 600 compartments and in doing so became the largest haenggung in Korea. If mini train is available on the visiting day, we take it to look around Fortress.

Stop At: Korean Folk Village, 90, Minsokchon-ro, Giheung-gu, Yongin, Gyeonggi-do 17075 South Korea
Visitors can see how people lived in the Joseon era. Thanks to the reproduced farmhouse, commoner’s house, government office, school, market place and noble’s house (Yangban), the village is a good place to start and see the history of Korea.

Day 7: Seoul City Tour, Discovering the new era at hand in Korea

Stop At: Gyeongbokgung Palace, 161 Sajik-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul South Korea
Built-in 1395, Gyeongbokgung Palace is also commonly referred to as the Northern Palace because its location is the furthest north when compared to the neighboring palaces of Changdeokgung (Eastern Palace) and Gyeonghuigung (Western Palace) Palace. Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably the most beautiful and remains the largest of all five palaces.

Stop At: Namsangol Hanok Village, 28, Toegye-ro 34-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul 04626 South Korea
This village has five restored traditional Korean houses, a pavilion, traditional garden, performance arts stage and a time capsule plaza, making it a perfect spot for both locals and tourists to take a leisure walk. Upon entering from the front gate, visitors will get a taste of the traditional life while escaping from the bustling city life of modern times.

Stop At: Trickeye Museum Seoul, 20, Hongik-ro 3-gil, Mapo-gu Seogyo Plaza B2, Seoul 04039 South Korea
The Trickeye Museum is "one of a kind" painting gallery which combines art with high-end technology featuring AR (Augmented Reality) effect and 2D/3D illusions. Instead of merely viewing paintings as one would in a typical art gallery, visitors can interact with paintings using the newly developed Trickeye Camera app to make paintings come alive and become part of the artworks while recording it on video or taking pictures. In addition, the Ice Museum, located inside the Trickeye Museum, is filled with objects that are fully made out of ice, such as iced TV, ice kitchen, ice slope etc. With just one admission ticket, visitors can enjoy both the Trickeye Museum and the Ice Museum. To ensure that even the busiest customers don’t miss out on the fun, the museum stays open each day all year round from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. (last admission by 8 p.m.), making it a popular dating spot or a hang-out place. Outside of the main exhibition hall is a museum café, which exclusively serves coffee decorated with a latte art using photos taken from your phone.

Day 8: Seoul ➜ ICN Airport ✈➜ Home

Stop At: Incheon International Airport, 272 Gonghang-ro, Jung-gu, Incheon, South Korea
After breakfast, we will enjoy last minute shopping near by hotel, one of the main shopping and tourism districts in Seoul. If you haven’t found anything during our journey, this is the best place for you to purchase souvenirs. In the evening, we will transfer to the airport for our return flight, with unforgettable experiences in Korea, ending our fantastic journey.
