Persepolis is one of the best preserved cities of the ruins of Persia and the best legacy of the Achaemenid Empire that ruled in Persia between 559 and 330 B.C. The most impressive features of the ruins are its splendid reliefs that have adorned the stairs and palaces of the site and provide a rich treasure for ancient history.
