Open Water Course

Conducting an Open-Water Course is one the most rewarding activities we do.
When you finish the course, we love to see the difference from the first dive.
We want all our customers to feel safe and ready to dive anywhere in the world.
The course is the first big step into the diving world and if organised properly is an amazing memory.
Everyone remembers where they completed their Open-water Course!

Itinerary

Once we are at the dive center, we will get through the paper work side. As this is an official certification there are a couple of forms to be filled out.
Do not worry as we will go through everything with you.
Then we will get sized up and make sure everything fits.

For the Open water course, there are two sides to it, the 'theory side' and the 'practical side'.
The theory can either be done online or on paper. We will discuss how you would like to do the theory. It consist of 5 knowledge reviews and a final exam, so you have a better concept of diving.

The practical side is also a divided into two parts, Confined and Open-Water, where you will conduct numerous skills, for example you will practice clearing your mask or learn about your buoyancy.
We will teach you these skills in confined water, then you will conduct them again in open-water.
