Stop At: Natural Gems and Gemmological Museum, 530, Colombo Road, Kandy 20442 Sri Lanka

The museum is one of the most educative for the enthusiasts, geologists and anyone who seeks knowledge. It has a complete collection of minerals and gems. Most of them are from their own mining sites, they have largest corundums in the world among them, which definitely is a unique experience for those who love gems and fossils.

Stop At: Pilimathalawa, Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka handicrafts are of a history that runs back to millenniums. The traditional skills have been preserved with its purity, resulting in the continuance of characteristic identity of Sri Lanka handicrafts. Sri Lanka handicrafts applies to a wide range of creative and design activities that are related to making things with one's hands and skill, including woodcraft, pottery, brassware, jewellery, batik, handloom textile, wooden mask, lacquer work.

Stop At: Embekka Devalaya, Embekka Pilimatalawa Road, Kandy 20000 Sri Lanka

It was built by the King Vikramabahu III of Gampola Era (AD 1357 - 1374) in Sri Lanka. The shrine consists of three sections, the "Sanctum of Garagha", the "Digge" or "Dancing Hall" and the "Hevisi Mandapaya" or the "Drummers' Hall". The Drummers' Hall that has drawn the attention of visitors to the site, due to the splendid wood carvings of its ornate pillars and its high pitched roof.

Stop At: Lankatilaka Temple, Gadaldeniya Rd, Kandy 20000 Sri Lanka

It has been built (AD 1357 - 1374) on a natural rock called Panhalgala Rock. Among the buildings the image house possess characteristically outstanding architectural features, embellished with traditional Sinhalese sculptures. According to the facts recorded in the Lankatilake copper plaque, this image house was construct as a four storied mansion with height of eighty feet, but today only 3 stories can be seen.
