Itinerary

Day 1: Airport > Mirissa

Pass By: Mirissa Beach, Mirissa 81740 Sri Lanka
Arrive at Colombo International Airport. Here, you will be met by a designated chauffeur guide from Lakpura After the formalities at the airport you will be escorted to your air conditioned vehicle and proceed to Mirissa and check in to the hotel and relax.

Day 2: Mirissa

Stop At: Whale Watching Mirissa, Harbour Road, Mirissa, Weligama 81740, Sri Lanka
This tour gives you an opportunity to see the biggest mammals on earth, the whales, in their natural habitat. Get a chance to see blue whales, sperm whales and fin whales as they swim in the waters to the south of Sri Lanka. Gain more knowledge about the whales as a species from a qualified naturalist and learn to identify them. This tour gives you a responsible whale watching experience with a minimal imprint on nature.

Day 3: Mirissa > Yala

Stop At: Bundala National Park, A 2 Road .bundala Junction Hambantota, Weligatta 82000 Sri Lanka
Each and every species of water bird found in Sri Lanka is believed to visit Bundala National Park. Nearly 200 species of birds have been recorded within the park, out of which 58 species are migratory birds.

During September and March, hordes of migrants arrive in Bundala; among them are Marsh and Curlew Sandpiper, Curlew and Greenshank Golden and Kentish Plover, Large and Lesser Sandplovers. While the Broad-billed Sandpipper and Red-necked Phalarope are the rare visitors, the most famous migratory bird is greater flamingo. Hordes of flamingoes are one of the most common sights. In this period over 10,000 shore birds might be feeding at any one day.

Day 4: Yala

Stop At: Palatupana, Yala National Park Sri Lanka
This amazing full day Safari offers the opportunity to visit Yala National Park, the second largest in the island based off the Southeastern coast of Sri Lanka. Get a chance to see the famous Sri Lankan leopards, indigenous wild water buffalo, Sri Lankan Sloth Bear and large herds of Sri Lankan Elephants. The park is also home to many other species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates.

Catch glimpses of the other mammals and birds, as well as the reptiles, amphibians and butterflies.
