6 Days Udzungwa Mountain NP Ruaha NP and Mikumi NP Private Wildlife Safari

This is combination of three National Park Safari. Mikumi is Tanzania’s fifth-largest national park, with almost guaranteed wildlife sightings. Udzungwa Mountain National Park is one of Tanzania’s most outstanding, pristine, paradise and unique exciting wilderness mountains forested with greatest altitudinal range of forest. Ruaha NP is the largest National Park in Tanzania covering an area of 20226 square kilometers. Ruaha National Park is famous for its herds of elephant and buffaloes. The Ruaha River, which plays an important role in the ecosystem of the park, provides sanctuary to a large number of hippos and crocodiles.

Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Udzungwa Mountain NP.

You will be picked by your driver from your hotel at 0600hrs and start driving to Udzungwa Mountain NP.  You will stop on the way for hot lunch then proceed to Udzungwa. Arrive late afternoon options of village walk in Mwaya village. Overnight at Udzungwa Twiga hotel

Day 2: Udzungwa Mountain Trekking / Iringa Town

Wake up for early breakfast then your driver will drive you to the starting point after completes the park formalities. Start walking in this beautiful Park enjoying and experience the stunning natural beauty of the Park. Picnic lunch in the bush then proceed exploring the area including the wonderful Sanje waterfall which is 170m high. You can get a chance to swim in one of the waterfall plunge pools.  You will get the chance to see six species of monkeys include endemic species of Sanje crested mangabey and Iringa red colobus Monkey. This will take about 3 to 4 hrs. After trekking start driving to Iringa for overnight at Neema Craft Hotel or Similar.

Meal Plan: -Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 3: Ruaha National Park

After breakfast drive to the Ruaha National Park gate which will take about two and a half hours from Iringa town. Start a full day game drive inside the park until sunset. Overnight at New Tourist cottage

A fine network of game-viewing roads follows the Great Ruaha and its seasonal tributaries, where, during the dry season, impala, waterbuck and other antelopes risk their life for a sip of life-sustaining water.

Day 4: Ruaha NP

You will have another full day game drive to explore the beautiful of the park, with its full of rocky, kopjes and ancient baobab trees. Dinner and overnight will be at New Tourist cottage.

Day 5: Ruaha NP to Mikumi NP

Wake up for a wilderness walking safari with guidance of an armed ranger which will take two to two and a half hours. Walking safari will give you a particularly intimate feel for African wild. After walking safari you will go back to the camp for breakfast then start driving to Mikumi NP. Lunch will be on the way. Arrive late evening in Mikumi NP. Overnight at Mikumi Tourist cottage or Bastian Camp.

Meal plan: -Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 6: Mikumi NP to Dar es Salaam

Work up for early breakfast then drives out for game drive until lunch time, after lunch start to drive back to Dar es Salaam. Drop off at hotel or airport.
