Day Trip to Koh Sichang from Pattaya Including Wishing Cave

Travel through the Gulf of Siam to the non-tourist island of Ko Sichang and step on its grounds, so you’ll immediately realize why they call it “Chinese Land in Thailand” and why this island has been the favourite place of resort of the Royal family for several centuries.

Our ship will depart from the pier Bali Hai at 8 o’clock in the morning. On your way to the island we will share with you about the history of its discovery and development. Your guide will inform you on how attending sacral places can improve the quality of your life and how you should conduct yourself during temple ceremonies.

Upon the arrival we will head for an active Chinese temple – Saan Chao Pho Khao Yai – which keeps the secrets of Feng Shui, an ancient philosophical system based on Asian peoples’ notion of the nature’s influence on human fate. The Chinese have been practicing Feng Shui for almost 3,000 years and can easily control the life force ch’i and achieve an incredible success in both business and love life. The temple is located atop a mountain and comprises a number of natural caves. Legend has it that visiting the cave of the mountain spirit (the goddess of harmony, prosperity and compassion Guanyin) will charge you up with positive vibes and bring love, success and happiness into your life.

The Cave of 1000 Wishes will help hard workers attract luck to their commerce and business endeavours. There you can make your dearest wish by writing it down on a cherry-red ribbon. After seeing the temple those willing to clean up their karma can climb up the mountain top – to the footprint of the Buddha.

On our way back to Pattaya our ship will briefly stop over to allow you feast your eyes on the Temple of Truth located at the seaboard’s edge.

Itinerary:

9am: Departure from the pier Bali Hai

10:30am: Landing on the Sichang Island and visiting: Chinese temple, The Cave of 1000 Wishes, The Cave of Mountain Spirit, Buddha footprint

1:30pm: On-ship lunch

2:30pm: Swimming and snorkeling near Khang Khao Island

4:30pm: Brief stop near The Sanctuary of Truth

5pm: Back to Pattaya
