Doi inthanon National park also known as the ‘Roof of Thailand’, which is the Highest mountain in Thailand, is part of the Himalayan mountain range, elevation ranges between 800 and 2565 meters. Due to the high altitude, the park has high humidity and cold weather all year round. The average daily temperatures are normally around 10-12 °C. with temperatures reaching zero during winter

The main attractions of the park are the summit of Doi Inthanon for its spectacular views, several waterfalls, the two chedis (stupas) dedicated to the king and queen’s 60th birthday anniversaries and the hiitribe villlage.

Today, the summit of Doi Inthanon is a popular tourist destination for both foreign and Thai tourists, with a peak of 12,000 visitors visiting the summit on New Year's Day.

Stop At: 119 Moo 7 Ban Luang Subdistrict, Doi Inthanon National Park 50160 Thailand

- You will be picked up from your hotel or guest house lobby between 8.00 and 8.30 am (8.30 to 9.00 depending on the hotel location )
- Drive approximately 2 hours to the highest peak of Thailand inside Doi Inthanon National Park. Take an very easy nature trail walk enjoying the outstanding view, many kind of birds, historical sightseeing and flowers admiring.
- The next stop is two adjacent Pagodas which were built to honor the 60th birthday of the King and Queen in 1987 and 1992 respectively. These mirrored buildings are pagodas that have been located on the highest altitude in Thailand. Here admire the beauty of flower garden and the alpen roses.
- Stop at Hmong hilltribe’s market. You can try and buy some local fruits.
- Continue to restaurante for lunch and have Thai set menu. (vegetarian food is available)
- Visit Siritan Waterfall and huge Wachirathern waterfall (a 70 meters high thunderous waterfall).
- Visit White Karen hill tribe village (not long neck). Observe the local women performing traditional clothing weaving.
