Stop At: The Grand Palace, Na Phra Lan Rd, Maharaj Pier next to Wat Phra Kaeo Temple Complex, Bangkok Thailand

You will be met at the Port by a Cruising Excursions representative, who will then guide you to your air conditioned vehicle.

This tour is a great way to experience not only fantastic sights, but also learn more about the history and culture of Thailand! After departing from the Cruise Port you will head to the first stop on this marvellous journey, the official residence of the King of Thailand, the Grand Palace.

During your tour of the Majestic Palace, you will soon realise just why it is so popular with tourist. You will see such sights as the Thorn Halls, the Thai Silk Museum and Palace's Courtyard.

Following on from this, you will head to the Emerald Buddha Temple. This is truly amazing place to be! Words really cannot describe the awe you will feel as you look upon the Emerald Buddha Statue itself. Once you have managed to tear yourself away from this glorious sight, you will then make your way to Wat Po. Here, you will be able to look upon the famous reclining Buddha, as well as the Thai Massage Origin Wall Decoration. This tour is not to be missed!

At the end of the tour you will be returned back to the port in plenty of time for your cruise ships departure.

Drive towards Bangkok
Drive down the Ratchadamnoen Avenue
Drive past Sanam Luang
Walk to the Grand Palace
Continue to Emerald Buddha
Move on to Wat Po, Reclining Buddhe & Thai Massage Wall Decoration
Free time around 30 minutes
Have lunch at local resturant (not included in price) around 1 hour and a half
Return to the Port

When do I return to port after my tour/excursion?

The tour is 8-9 hours in length so you will be returned in plenty of time for your cruise ship departure.
All tour times are based on Shore time (i.e. local time, - not ship time)

Entrance fees to Grand Palace, Emerald Buddha or Wat Po are not included (The Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha - Entrance fee is 500 THB.
Wat Po - Entrance fee is 200 THB. per Person to be paid locally).

Wheelchair Access: Unfortunately some of the sites are not accessible to wheelchairs or can be extremely challenging. Therefore the tour is not suitable for wheelchair users

**Dress Code (applicable to both ladies and gentlemen) is requested:

Men must wear long pants and shirts with sleeves (no tank tops. If they're wearing sandals or flip-flops they must wear socks (in other words, no bare feet.). Women must be similarly modestly dressed. No see-through clothes, bare shoulders, etc.
Visitors must be properly dressed before being in the area that is in the vicinity of these sacred site. Accordingly, making a purchase from the vendors along the way towards the entrance including the area nearby is no longer permitted. If visitors show up at the front gate improperly dressed, there is a booth near the entrance that can provide clothes to cover you up properly (a deposit is required).
