Kanchanburi is the ultimate go-to destination for an education of World War II history, as it was the base of Japanese soldiers during the War. Made popular by the movie, The Bridge on the River Kwai, its tourist attractions include the Death Railway, Bridge over the River Kwae (Kwai), war cemeteries and museums. It is also the gateway to some of the most beautiful national parks of Thailand, like the Erawan National Park, Sai Yak National Park and Tree Top Adventure Park.

Itinerary

Day 1: Trip to Kanchanaburi Town

Pass By: Kanchanaburi Bus Terminal, Ban Tai, Mueang Kanchanaburi District, Kanchanaburi 71000, Thailand
Transfer by overnight bus for journey to Kanchanaburi Town.

Day 2: ERAWAN & KANCHANABURI DAY TOUR

Stop At: Erawan waterfall, Moo 4 Tha Kradan Erawan National Park, Erawan National Park 71250 Thailand
Arrive at Kanchanaburi.
Check in to your hotel before starting your tour.

After breakfast – Your excursion begins.

The chief attraction is the Erawan National Park and its 7 tiered waterfalls. This gives you the opportunity to do trekking, caving, and wading through cerulean pools in the midst of the
dense rainforest.

Other day trips include a ride on the ‘Death Railway”, crossing the famous bridge over Kwai, visiting Hellfire Pass and the Memorial Museum.
