We don’t allow riding our elephants but we would like to offer you the chance to take care of them with us :D

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Bamboo elephant family care, 8/1 Pattana ซอย พัฒนาช้างเผือก Tambon Chang Phueak, Amphoe Mueang Chiang Mai, Chang Wat Chiang Mai 50300, Thailand

Half Day Morning: Pick up from hotel lobby in Chiang Mai city (08.00-08.40am) and drop off about 2.15pm.
or
Half Day Afternoon: Pick up from hotel lobby in Chiang Mai city (12.00 - 12.40pm) and drop off about 6.15pm.
or
One Day - Elephant Care + Trekking & Rafting: Pick up from hotel lobby in Chiang Mai city (08.00-08.40am) and drop off about 6.30pm.

This project is not only to make you happy with those domesticated elephants in a truly beautiful nature environment, but it is also giving a good chance to support the hill tribes and local Thai farmers who live in villages nearby our elephant sanctuary. We buy some agricultural products from them.
Learn about Elephants behaviours in natural surroundings. See these lovely animals in a safe and sustainable environment - NO RIDING!!

- You will be picked up from your hotel lobby in Chiang Mai city
- Drive approximately 1.5 hours through scenic agricultural areas North of Chiangmai before arriving at the Sanctuary
- Change into Mahout Style Karen uniform
- Learn a little about the elephants and traditional organic herbal dietary supplements
- Observe our beautiful rescued elephants as they roam and socialize throughout our sanctuary
- Lunch time
- Walk and Observing Elephants in a Natural way (when they are bathe as they would in the wild)

and if you choose One Day Trekking Elephant Care program - After you finish Elephant Care above you will Trekking for 2 hours (1 hour go & 1 hour back) then take a White Water Rafting

- Back to Chiang Mai

One Day - Elephant Care + Trekking & Rafting: drop off about 6.30pm.

***We don’t use chains, hooks or any other cruelty tactics like that, we don’t need too because our elephant family are allowed to roam free.****
