Stop At: Bang Pa In Palace, Ban Len Ban Len, Bang Pa-in 13160 Thailand
Bang Pa-In Palace isnt what you might expect from a Thai royal residence. Some of the European-influenced architecture wouldnt look out of place at a stately home in France or Germany. And the sight of tourists driving golf buggies over a bridge lined with Renaissance-style statues may make you do a double-take. But the golf buggies provide a practical and modern solution that allows visitors to explore the expansive grounds in comfort. This may be a royal palace with rules of etiquette, but it retains a relaxed atmosphere and is a pleasure to visit. Home to an elegant collection of buildings with a mix of European and Thai architecture styles, Bang Pa-In Palace reflects the personality of the man who oversaw much of the construction, King Chulalongkorn.

Stop At: Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit, Pratuchai Subdistrict, Ayutthaya 13000 Thailand
Phra Mongkhon Bophit is one of the largest bronze Buddha images in Thailand. The image measures 9.55 metres at the widest point across the lap, and 12.45 metres high without the base. This Buddha image is seated in the position of subduing mara and situated on the west side of the old palace compound in the Vihara of Phra Mongkhon Bophit temple. The image is believed to have been constructed in the early Ayutthaya period between 1448 to 1602 A.D. and was originally situated at the east side of the old palace compound. Later, during the reign of King Song Tham it was moved to the west side and a Mondop was built to shelter it. During the reign of King Phra Chao Sua (1706 A.D.) the top part of the Mondop and the head of the image were damaged by the lightning. The Mondop was converted into a Vihara and the main restoration of Phra Mongkhon Bophit was completed during the reign of King BoromaKote (1742-1743 A.D.)

Stop At: Historic City of Ayutthaya, Ayutthaya 13000 Thailand
The Historic City of Ayutthaya, founded in 1350, was the second capital of the Siamese Kingdom. It flourished from the 14th to the 18th centuries, during which time it grew to be one of the worlds largest and most cosmopolitan urban areas and a center of global diplomacy and commerce. Ayutthaya was strategically located on an island surrounded by three rivers connecting the city to the sea. This site was chosen because it was located above the tidal bore of the Gulf of Siam as it existed at that time, thus preventing attack of the city by the sea-going warships of other nations. The location also helped to protect the city from seasonal flooding.
At last, it's an ideal opportunity to return. Furthermore, drop off you at your Bangkok City Hotel around 5 pm.
