Richelieu Rock Scuba Diving daytrip

Richelieu Rock offers the best of Thailand’s diving experiences. It is one of the best places to dive in an area known for manta ray’s or whalesharks. It is also a great place to see macro sea creatures such as seahorses and ghost pipe fish.

We will pick you up straight from your hotel in Phuket or Khao Lak and take you on a boat trip to Richelieu Rock for the day. While you enjoy a nice sandwich, transfer to the island by speedboat for your 2 dives at Richelieu Rock with our experienced guides

In between the dives lunch will be served. Diving in small groups with a maximum of 4 people per guide.

You'll be diving at Thailand's best, completely covered in soft corals. You will have the opportunity to see many different types of sea creatures such as moray eels, lion fish, scorpion fish, parrot fish, butterfly fish, banner fish, flute fish, cornet fish and more! This is also a very good trip for spotting leopard or blacktip sharks as well as sea turtles. The highlight of diving at Koh Tachai, however, is the abundance of macro life you will see in an area also known for manta ray and whale shark.

The diving here can be really challenging and is suitable for advanced divers who have been diving recently and more experienced divers only.

Transfers to the boat from your Phuket hotel begin around 5:30am, from Khao Lak at 7am. Once on board you can enjoy the ride to the island. Our first dive is around 10:00am at Richelieu Rock and once back on board we will enjoy lunch before heading out for the second dive around noon. After the dive fresh fruit is available back on the boat and the transfer back starts again.

Throughout the day drinking water, coffee and tea and soft drinks are available free of charge, a beer after diving is available at a small charge.
