Itinerary

Day 1: Bangkok - Udon Thani - Nong Khai

Stop At: Phu Phra Bat Buabok Forest Park, Mueang Phan, 41160 Thailand
The park's distinguishing feature is its unusual rock formations around which religious shrines have been constructed. Some formations also feature prehistoric rock paintings.

Stop At: Pa Phu Kon Temple, Ban Nakhamyai Ban Kong Subdistrict, Na Yung 41380 Thailand
Temple is hidden in the middle of the forest in Nong Kwai Region. This temple circumscribes nearly 400 acres of lush forest, and as a result, is a tranquil locale for Buddhist meditation practice. There is one of the most notable features of the temple is a 65 foot long statue of a reclining Buddha inside this complex.

Stop At: Wat Pha Tak Suea, Pha Tang, Sangkhom District, Nong Khai 43160, Thailand
Wat Pha Tak Suea is a temple situated within the beautiful mountainous and forest areas of the Nong Khai province in Thailand.

During 2016 the skywalk opened to visitors that’s attracted many foreigners as well as Thai people. The 16 meter skywalk is a u-shaped platform set in the hillside on a cliff edge that’s overlooking the Mekong river with beautiful panoramic views.

Stop At: Sala Kaew Ku (Wat Khaek), Samakkhi community, Nong Khai Thailand
Sala Keoku is a park featuring giant fantastic concrete sculptures inspired by Buddhism. It is located near Nong Khai, Thailand in immediate proximity of the Thai-Lao border and the Mekong river. The park has been built by and reflects the personal vision of Luang Pu Bunleua Sulilat and his followers (the construction started in 1978). It shares the style of Sulilat's earlier creation, Buddha Park on the Lao side of Mekong, but is marked by even more extravagant fantasy and greater proportions.

Day 2: Bueng Kan - Nakhon phanom

Stop At: Mekong River, Vientiane
Keang Ahong is the deepest point of Mekong river where measured about 200 Meters deep.

Day 3: Nakhon Phanom

Stop At: Former Governor's Resident Museum, พิพิธภัณฑ์จวนผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดนครพนม, ถนนสุนทรวิจิตร, ตำบลในเมือง อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดนครพนม, 48000 Tambon Nai Mueang, Amphoe Mueang Nakhon Phanom, Chang Wat Nakhon Phanom 48000, Thailand
Juan Pooh Wah museum is a prominent example of architecture in Nakornpanom. It exhibits fine western architectural style as the design was influenced by French architecture during Indochina wars.

The museum’s entrance is an arch door with a lunette on top and the roof does not slope sharply. Despite its old age, the building is so well-preserved that its original beauty can still be seen.

Stop At: Wat Okat Si Bua Ban, Naimueang Subdistrict, Nakhon Phanom Thailand
Wat Okat Si Bua Ban is the old sacred temple of Nakhon Phanom Province. The temple houses two revered Buddha images, “Phra Tio” and “Phra Thiam”, which are situated together, as well as beautiful murals.
