Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Istanbul, Turkey

Stop At: Sabiha Gokcen International Airport, Sanayi, 34906 Pendik/İstanbul, Turkey
Upon your arrival at Istanbul Airport, a representative will welcome you with a sign bearing your name, and then you will be transferred to your hotel where you can take a rest.

Day 2: Flight to Cappadocia & North Cappadocia Tour

Stop At: Nevsehir Kapadokya Airport, Tuzköyü, Nevşehir Kapadokya Havaalanı Girişi, 50900 Gülşehir/Nevşehir, Turkey
You will have an early morning pick you from your hotel and travel to Istanbul airport for your flight to Cappadocia.

Upon your arrival, to Cappadocia, a representative will welcome you with a sign bearing your name, and then you will be transferred to the tour office.

Stop At: Goreme National Park, Goreme 50180 Turkey
After a welcome drink, start your tour at Goreme National Park where the first stop is at the fantastic viewpoint of Uchisar Castle where you will receive information about the rich history of Cappadocia and the unique rock formations.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Goreme, Goreme, Cappadocia
After the panoramic viewpoint, we will visit the Goreme Open Air Museum, and your guide will explain the history of the frescoes covering the walls of old cave churches as you explore this fascinating UNESCO World Heritage site.

Next, get to see a kick-wheel pottery demonstration and our guests are welcome to show their own talent about pottery.

Stop At: Avanos, Avanos, Cappadocia
We will then have our lunch in Avanos with traditional Turkish food before visiting the Pasabag Fairy Chimneys which is also commonly known as Monks Valley. You will have the chance to see the famous mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys as well as St. Simeon’s monk cell carved into the rock.

Stop At: Devrent Valley, Devrent Mevkii No:1 Aktepe Koyu Turkey
See Devrent Valley that is well known as imagination valley where you can take fantastic pictures with animal-shaped rock formations.

Our last visit will be a Turkish handmade carpet cooperative where you will be informed about the process of handwoven kilims and double-knotted rugs from Turkey.

Day 3: Hot Air Balloon Ride (optional) & South Cappadocia Tour

Stop At: Cappadocia, Cappadocia
In the morning enjoy a sunrise balloon flight (own expense) over the lunar landscape of Cappadocia and land with champagne to celebrate before heading back to the hotel where you can take a rest and have breakfast.

Stop At: Goreme National Park, Goreme 50180 Turkey
After your rest visit Goreme National Park where we will visit Goreme Panorama where you can see a magnificent view of Goreme town with its fascinating cave houses.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Rose Valley, Goreme 50180 Turkey
Then, we will begin our hike in the beautiful Red/Rose Valley, which is approximately 4 km long and see the magical fairy-chimneys, local farms, cave chapels and pigeon houses.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Cavusin, Cavusin, Cappadocia
Your guide will provide you with the information about the history and the unique formations of Cappadocia during the hike, and at the end of the hike, have a quick stop at Cavusin Old Greek Village.

Stop At: Love Valley, Goreme 50180 Turkey
Then we will visit Love Valley to take amazing pictures of pillar-shaped rock formations of Cappadocia where we will have our lunch with traditional Turkish food before heading to the carved underground city used by early Christians as a shelter to hide against their enemies.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Pigeon Valley, Uchisar KasabasI Nevşehir Kapadokya, Goreme 50240 Turkey
Next, stop at the terrific view of Pigeon Valley where you will be informed about the carved pigeon houses before our final stop at the Onyx factory where you will be informed about semi-precious volcanic stones of Turkey.

Day 4: Private Transfer to Mt. Nemrut

Stop At: Adiyaman, Adiyaman
After you have enjoyed an early breakfast at your hotel, check out and drive to Adıyaman. You will stop en route at Kahramanmaras for lunch and a taste of its famous ice cream.

Stop At: Kahta, Kahta
Upon arrival to Kahta, check in to the hotel and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 5: Sunrise at Mt. Nemrut & Arsemia Old City

Stop At: Mount Nemrut, Adiyaman 50100 Turkey
Early morning we will drive to the summit of the mount Nemrut (one of the most famous UNESCO world cultural heritage sites), watching the sunset and be amazed by the large heads and the statues of ancient deities, as you step into mythology.

This extraordinary landmark sits at an elevated position of 8000 ft. The mountain top is composed of two flat areas strewn with statues and separated by a peak of crushed rock. Antiochus built the whole complex around 2000 years ago as a monument to his divine ancestry.

Stop At: Arsemia Antik Kenti, Kahta Turkey
Also, you should take time to visit the old castle, Arsemeia, cross over the still functioning Cendere Bridge (Septimius Severus bridge) dating back to the 3rd century.

Stop At: Sanliurfa, Sanliurfa, Sanliurfa Province
After visiting Nemrut and Arsemia, drive to Sanliurfa and Harran, and on the way to Sanlıurfa, we will have a coffee break at Ataturk Dam, which is the biggest dam in the Middle East. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel for some relaxation.

Day 6: Göbeklitepe & Abraham’s Cave Tour

Stop At: Urfa Kultur ve Sanat Merkezi, Sarayonu Mah. Yetkin Is Hani K:4 Sanliurfa Merkez, Sanliurfa Turkey
After breakfast, we will start exploring Sanliurfa, which has been occupied since the Babylonians followed by the Hurrites, Hittites, Assyrians and Greeks.

We will visit Urfa Archaeological Museum, which exhibits a vast collection, found in the Harran and Gobeklitepe Area. We will then visit the holy sites at Ainzelha, a lake with millions and millions of domesticated fish.

While in Urfa, we will take a visit the cave where the prophet Abraham was born before walking through the local, covered bazaar of Sanliurfa where you can discover many hidden treasures to take back home.

Stop At: Harran, Harran, Sanliurfa Province
We will have a tasty lunch with kebabs before visiting Harran and see the fantastic beehive houses. Harran, according to the Bible, was where the prophet Abraham spent a couple of years with his family before moving to Israel, the Promised Land.

There are some exceptional photo opportunities in this area, so don't forget to bring your camera.

Stop At: Gobeklitepe, Sanliurfa Turkey
In the afternoon you will visit Gobeklitepe, a hilltop sanctuary built on the highest point of an elongated mountain ridge 15 km northeast of the town of Urfa. Gobeklitepe which is believed to have the first temple of the World and was built roughly twelve thousand years ago.

Day 7: Gaziantep & Zeugma Mosaic Museum & Flight back to İstanbul

Stop At: Gaziantep, Gaziantep, Gaziantep Province
After you have enjoyed an early breakfast at the hotel, you will check out and drive to Gaziantep where we will first visit the Mosaic Museum.

We will then visit the old city castle which is located in the centre of the city and the copper bazaar one of the most unique and oldest bazaars in Turkey where you can find a variety of copper handicrafts.

We will also have the opportunity to taste the famous baklava; a sweet pastry made of filo that is full with chopped nuts and sweetened with syrup or honey.

Stop At: Sabiha Gokcen International Airport, Sanayi, 34906 Pendik/İstanbul, Turkey
After visiting the city, drive to the airport for your evening flight back to İstanbul. Upon your arrival at İstanbul, we will meet you and transfer to your hotel.
