Goddess Photo Shoots

Red lives on the water right past Waimea Bay. When you arrive we will greet you and introduce ourselves as well as talk story about what we will be doing. Then we go out and pick or gather the flowers. The Goddess shoots are ceremonial. You pick flowers and then we go into the dressing area where we will figure out what costume to put on you. It is fabric that we pin and turn into magic. You are then dressed up and flowers are put in their proper places (either we make a lei or pin it to you or put them in your hair or all of the above). Then we walk in front of where Red lives and take pictures in the golden light before sunset. We will shoot until we get the shot and then enjoy the sunset over the water. You will look through some of the pictures, work on one or two if there is time and he will send you a few. We will say our goodbyes. Red spent a good amount of his life sailing the seas. He has stories galore! When he set foot on Oahu he didn't want to live or be anywhere else. He has so much knowledge about the island and can tell you about nearly every plant you point to. He has eaten and enjoys almost any fruit you have never heard of. Photography and art have been with him on all of his journeys and now he enjoys showing women their true self through the lens of a camera. Red has many spots in front of his house that provide amazing settings for the shoots. Rain usually means rainbows but it is all dependent on the weather and water conditions and sunset.
