Only at Grand Canyon Western Ranch can you experience a guided horseback and buffalo safari! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ride on a western horse on a true "city slicker" experience. Begin this day tour with round-trip shuttle transfers from your Las Vegas hotel and then enjoy your choice between either a horseback or a wagon ride to view our herd of wild buffalo. All horses are trained, gentle and suitable for beginners. Ponies are available for ages 8 and under. Comfortably seated in your authentic western saddle, you will follow your guide through the Joshua trees that line the Historic Mormon Trail. If you'd rather go by covered wagon, you'll be led by 2 Belgian Draft horses. Go back in time as you follow the trail like the pioneers of long ago. Your cowboy guide will fascinate you will tales of the history and wildlife of this historic ranch. On arrival at Buffalo Point, you will be in awe as you get your first views of the majestic icon of the west: the Buffalo.
