Year round World class paddle destination. Because of the first magnitude spring head, the water is an amazing 72 degree water temp all year long. Shaded and wind protected by stately oak and cypress trees, the shallow, crystal clear spring water is ideal for paddling. No motor boats upriver, no wakes or waves. Truly a paddling paradise! Because we want you to stay all day, our rate is for up to 8 hours of paddling, making it a fantastic value for an all day activity. For an additional 2.00 payable at the upriver state park, you can park your board on the tie off wall and go ashore. There you will find trails thru the woods and an amzing swimming hole built around the wekiva spring head. if your a snorkeler or a swimmer take a plunge! the water is crystal clear and 72 degrees year round. Bring a mask and maybe your gopro if you want to dive / swim thru the crack at the spring!

Itinerary

Paddlers will be able to explore the wekiva river and spring run at their own leisure. Crystal clear with a sandy bottom and mostly only hip deep, the spring run is wind protected, no boats allowed and the water is a year round 72 degrees thanks to the massive wekiva springs. Perfect for paddleboarding year round, truly a world class SUP location! Take a break and grab a drink or some food onsite and head back out if your ready for more! Boards must be returned before sundown and may start as early as 830am.
