Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Lan Ha Bay – Dark & Bright Caves – Overnight Area

Stop At: Lan Ha Bay, Cat Ba Vietnam

Await the collection of the guide and driver in your hotel lobby. Once they have arrived, we will begin our transfer to Hai Phong city.

12:00

Rest at the harbour as the V’Spirit Premier Cruise completes its final preparations. We can board shortly after this and enjoy our welcome drink.

13:00

Sit down in the dining room for a delicious lunch and a scrolling view of the wonderfully unique limestone towers outside the windows.

On sampan boats, some residents of the bay will show us their home by taking us to the Dark & Bright caves, two gorgeous caverns with a vast and enclosed lake on the other side. Swimming is also available here.

17:00 We return to the V’Spirit Premier Cruise to catch the daily spectacle of a gorgeous sunset, as well as happy hour at the bar.

Along with a fantastic dinner, we have a very special performance of traditional Vietnamese music in the dining room or on the top deck. Before you retire to your cabin tonight, perhaps you would like to head to the bar, the spa or join the crew for some squid fishing.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Tra Bau – Hanoi

Begin your new day with the Tai Chi session on the top deck, run by our onboard Tai Chi teacher as the sunrise greets us from behind the mountains.

Enjoy breakfast in the fresh air and peaceful beauty of the Bay.

Experience some fantastic kayaking to discover the lovely Tra Bau area. Visit a fishing farm and socialize with the resident fishermen in order to know more about their life and how they work every day.

Return to the ship and enjoy the cooking demonstration put on by our talented chef as they give you an insight into Vietnamese cuisine, then sit down for a lovely lunch buffet, on our approach to the harbour.

Stepping off the V’Spirit Premier Cruise at the harbour, we board the bus and head back to Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Pu Luong

Stop At: Pu Luong Nature Reserve, Pho Doan, Thanh Hoa 448100 Vietnam
Easy Trek to Chieng Lau, Yen, Ba villages, Bamboo rafting on Cham Stream:
07:00 – 07:30 = Pick-up at Hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter to go to Pu Luong Nature Reserve by Limousine Bus.
09:00 = Short break in Luong Son (Outside of Hanoi).
11:00 = Stop at the local market of the Muong Ethnic Minority; enjoy the beautiful scenery of ThungKhe Pass (One of the 10 most beautiful passes in Vietnam).
12:00 = Arrival in Mai Chau and transfer to a van to go to Pu Luong Reserve nature
13:00 =Check in and lunch at Pu Luong Eco Garden – The Mountain Retreat.
14:30 – 17:30 = Board the van to the starting point. Following the small road through the terrace rice and sugar cane fields, cross the Hanging Bridges to visit other remote rural villages of Thai Ethnic. Stop at the giant waterwheels, ducks farm to learn about the agriculture before getting on the Bamboo Raft for a relaxing cruise on Cham stream (cruise
depending on weather conditions).
17:30 = Pick up the van to go to the Eco Garden – Mountain Retreat. Enjoy swimming in the Infinity Pool.
19:00 = BBQ Dinner at the lodge, enjoy some local rice wine. Have a quiet night in the middle of the Reserve.

Day 4: Explore Kho Muong village and Doi Cave – NinhBinh 120km

Stop At: Pu Luong Nature Reserve, Pho Doan, Thanh Hoa 448100 Vietnam
07:00 – 08:00 = Have breakfast in the lodge. Enjoying the breathtaking view from Pu Luong
Eco Garden – The Mountain Retreat.
08:30 – 12:00 = Trek following the small roads through the terrace rice fields and cross the stream to visit remote hidden village of Kho Muong to learn about the local people in Pu Luong.(6kms) Explore Doi Cave (Bat cave), this is the largest cave in Pu Luong. (Depending
on the weather condition)
12:00 = Back to the Eco Garden – The Mountain Retreat, check out.
13:00 = Have lunch and have free time to relax in the Infinity pool or walking around the village before boarding the c ar to go to NinhBinh at 14:30.
17:30 = Arrive in NinhBinh Retreat, check in and have free time.
19:00 = Have dinner at the retreat

Day 5: Cycling to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital and boat ride in Trang An

Stop At: Pu Luong Nature Reserve, Pho Doan, Thanh Hoa 448100 Vietnam
7:30 – 8:30 = Breakfast at the Retreat
8:30 to 12:00 = Cycling through the limestone karsts to reach 2 temples of the first 2
Emperors in the 10 th Century in Hoa Lu Ancient Capital hike up the Ma Yen Mountain to visit the King’s tomb in 10 th century and enjoy the panorama view from the mountain. On the way back, stop in a local family to discover daily life and culture and share a tea with them.
12:00 -13:30 = Check out and have lunch at the Retreat
13:30 -16:00 = Go to TrangAn for a boat ride in between the karst pics and enjoy the beautiful scenery and peaceful atmosphere.
After trip you have pick up to our homestay in Ninh Binh - Ham Rong Homestay to take a rest, can shower, dinner then around 20:30PM car will bring you to the train station ti take a night Train from Ninh Binh to Dong Hoi, Train depart at 21:47PM.

Day 6: Phong Nha - Paradise Cave

Stop At: Phong Nha Caves, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park 510000 Vietnam
07:30 – 08:00 Our driver and Guide will pick you up at Dong Hoi station, airport , bus station … and hotels at Dong Hoi city or Phong Nha town go to Phong Nha Ke Bang national park.

Visit Paradise cave.
Paradise cave was discovered by scientists of the British Caving Research Association in 2005, has the length of 31km, the longest dry cave in Asia.
You will be taken by the electrical car from the parking to the foothills of the cave (2km). You will went in the jungle, see many kind of trees and hear the sound of animals.Expore the cave about 1km on the wood foor and see lot of stalactites with different shapes.
With naturally primitive features Paradise Cave looks like a landscape painting, making it very attractive to visitors. There are a series of white crystal stalactites resembling glass pillars and many other spectacular formations.
12:00 Lunch at a restaurant with local specialties from the people here processing.
13:00 Continue the journey to visit the PhongNha Cave.

Visit Phong Nha Cave is considered “First Cave wonders“
Take a boat about 5km along the Son River to Phong Nha Cave (river cave).
On Son river, you will see pictures of the girls, the children have fun on the waterfront and have the opportunity to experience the daily life of the neighborhood riverside village bearing the Vietnamese country soul.
Conquering the Phong Nha Cave: The longest wet cave, enjoy the scenery spectacular limestone, underground river system and unique stalactite in the world. Caving Fairy & Imperial admire the beautiful stalactites blocks are created by nature over thousands of millennia.
Return to the boat station.
16:00 – 16:30 Vehicle transfer you back to Phong Nha town or Dong Hoi City.
17:00 – 17:30 Go back Nam Long Plus Hotel to stay overnight.

Day 7: Train from Dong Hoi - Hue

Stop At: Hue Imperial City (The Citadel), Hue Vietnam
- After breakfast the car will bring to the train station to take a train to Hue, train depart at 8:05AM. Arrive Hue around 11:05AM.

Day 8: Easy Rider from Hue to Hoi An

Stop At: Hoi An Ancient Town, Hoi An 560000 Vietnam
08:00AM: Tour guide and motorbike pick up from Hue hotel. A full day trip Hue to Hoi An by motorbike, this Scenic Coast route is simply the best way to travel to Hue if you only have one day! Join with us and admire them
Leaving Hue in the morning our first stop is Elephant Springs where you can wade in the rock pools.
Next we stop for photos at Lang Co Beach before traveling over the Hai Van Pass. Hai Van means “Sea of Clouds” and when crossing the top of the Pass you are literally surrounded by clouds on one side with stunning ocean views on the other.
