Cycling To Cu Chi Tunnel

Visit the “area of steel” in your special way, biking through the peaceful village to get closer with the locals and learn how the people living and fighting in the tunnel during the War time harsh condition.

pick up at your hotel/residence on request(District 1). Leaving the hustle and bustle Ho Chi Minh City to start your trip to explore the countryside area. The first 20 kilometers of cycling will take you along narrow country laneways, it’s time to fulfilled your experience about the urban life of the locals.

Arrive Cu Chi, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.  Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun.

Head to vegetable village on your two wheel where full convergence of the culinary culture of the Cu Chi people in particular and the food culture of Vietnam. Have lunch.

Return to Saigon. End trip
