Da Nang Day Trip from Hoi An

Visit the Marble Mountains, Museum of Cham Sculpture, and Marble (My Khe) Beach on this day trip to Da Nang. Accompanied by a guide, you'll explore natural caves, see 19th-century Buddhist pagodas, and swim in sheltered waters. Lunch, entrance fees, and round-trip hotel transport from Hoi An are included.

Following pickup at your Hoi An hotel in the morning, depart for the Marble Mountains, located about 12 miles (20 km) northeast of Hoi An Ancient Town. Also referred to as Ngu Hanh Son or Mountains of Five Elements, the Marbles consist of five corresponding peaks: Moc Son (wood); Kim Son (metal); Tho Son (soil); Hoa Son (fire); and Thuy Son (water), the highest and most popular destination due to its alluring beauty.

Spend about 2 hours with your guide at the natural caves and Buddhist pagodas built around the 19th century. Then visit a traditional marble carving village.

Leaving the Marble Mountains for Da Nang around midday, you'll take a guided tour of the Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture, which holds the finest collection of Champa art. The museum was built in the Cham architectural style of the 5th to 15th centuries, when a matriarchal society prevailed. At present, the museum displays approximately 300 sculptures.

Next, head to Marble Beach (My Khe), located just 3 miles (6 km) east of Da Nang. On a 4-mile (7-km) stretch of smooth sand with a gentle gradient, it's an ideal place for relaxing and swimming. The warm climate and lack of large waves on the lee side of the Son Tra peninsula make it a safe place to swim for adults and children alike.

After a seafood lunch at this stunning beach, you're returned to Hoi An where your 5-hour tour concludes.
