Bull Moose Stops Traffic in Canada's Rockies During the Rut
This Awesome Bull Moose is in His Prime During the Beginning of the Moose Rut in Canada's Rockies. He is Covering Ground in search of Cows that may be receptive during their "Mating Season" ..the Moose Rut.Moose are more active during dawn and dusk, which coincides with high-traffic times. They may be difficult to spot, especially at night, due to their dark fur and tendency to blend into the surroundings.
Many regions with moose populations implement road safety measures to reduce the risk of collisions, such as installing warning signs, using wildlife reflectors, erecting wildlife fencing, establishing designated wildlife crossings, and lowering speed limits in areas prone to moose encounters.
