Care Visiting the Rockies During The Elk Rut
It is certainly exciting to visit the Canadian Rockies during the Elk Rut! They are Magnificent animals to witness during this time of year, but bull elk may attack anything that comes too close to them or their mates. If You are not familiar.. Some signs that a Bull Elk may require more room might simply be noticeable agitation, lowering his antlers towards you, pawing the ground, and thrashing bushes. Please slow down when Elk are near Canada's highways, especially during their rutting season. Bull's or Cows may suddenly run across the road for many reasons.
