Grizzly Bears are on the Hunt for Berries Now
This Grizzly Bear is covering a lot of ground now in search of ripe berries. Being a fairly hot dry summer so far, Grizzly and Black Bears may have to travel more to get their berry fill this year. We are still hoping for a few days of heavy rain to bump up the crops. This is a time for hikers and bikers to make more noise on trails as bears focused on eating berries are easily surprised.
