Kayaking Ulza Shkopet Eco Park

Drive for around one hour and a half to Ulza National Park and kayak around Lake Ulza, enjoying the fresh air and clear water of this protected nature reserve.

After a lunch of locally caught fish, return to Tirana.

Itinerary

For impressive scenery it’s hard to beat Lake Shkopet in the north – an amazingly scenic reservoir on Mat river with quiet small beaches and a huge hanging bridge. Blissfully encircled by dense vegetation of the Mat gorge, it’s only a 90-minute drive from Tirana. We will paddle on the lake along pristine river beaches and farmhouses for about 3 hours with opportunity to jump in the turquoise green water whenever the weather is good. We will have a local lunch of seasonal vegetables and fresh river fish.
