Itinerary

Day 1: From Tirana to Koman Lake and Kayaking at Berisha

Pass By: Go as Local, Siri Kodra 88, Tirana 1000 Albania

Stop At: Koman, Koman, Shkoder County
We will leave Tirana at 5:00 am to drive toward the Koman Lake .

Duration: 5 hours

Stop At: Berisha, Albania
Our station will be Berisha, a very remote village situated in the shores of the Koman lake. We will be welcomed to sleep with a local family, the only one who had opened their doors for tourists.
Kayaking experience and exploration of Koman Lake.
Overnight at Berishe.
Duration: 15 hours

Day 2: Berisha to Valbona

Stop At: Valbona, Valbona, Kukes County
Driving from Fierza to Valbona will needs around 45 minutes, passing through Bajram Curri, the municipally of the area. Lunch break in Valbona and hiking in Kukaj, a very remote area in Valbona Valley surroundings when we will see how the people do their living. Overnight in Valbona.

Day 3: Hiking from Valbona to Theth

Stop At: Theth, Theth, Shkoder County
Called also as the Big Day of the tour the second day is where we will hike from Valbona to Theth following the ancient path that locals had used in years, were back in the days to travel from Valbona to Shkoder was possible only by walking and 2 full days were needed !
Walking in this path we will pass through the oldest part of the village when people are still leaving in their more than 100 years old stone towers. It offers a spectacular view of the long rocky valley mixed with quiet, relaxing forests and some traditional cafes for lunch break.
Theth will amaze us with its unique nature, history and tradition. Its symbol, the “Lock in Tower” is a live proof of the past and history. Overnight in Theth.

Day 4: Returning from Theth to Shkoder

Stop At: Shkoder, Shkoder, Shkoder County
After breakfast at the Guesthouse, the Gurnas Waterfall is the next attraction. Around 45 minutes walk from the center of the village the round to their pass through most of the village into soft hilly terrain.
Living Theth behind and driving for around 3 hours we will reach Shkoder, the biggest city of the Albanian North.
