8-Day Circuit Hiking Sahara in Algeria with Flights Included

This hike accessible to everyone, in the splendid landscapes of the Sahara is perfect for a first discovery of the desert.

This is an easy hike of about 95 km Southeast of Essendilene in the direction of Djanet through several beautiful valleys accompanied by our camel caravan.

You will be amazed by the diversity of landscapes, sandstone, dunes, rocks with various forms emerging from the sand...

Jour 1 Saturday : Flight France / Algier, transfer to National Airport of Algier ( 200 m) then flight from Algier at 21 h 50 arrival at Djanet 23 h 59, Greet at Djanet Airport by the guide and its team. Transfer to the bivouac area to spend the rest of the night.

Jours 2 Sunday : Transfer in 4X4, toward Djanet to go through some formalities to enter the National Parc of Tassili N’Ajjer (Unesco Heritage) – Transfer to the valley of Essendilèbe (located north of Djanet 100 km), to meet the team with the camels. Visit of the canyon and Gueltas of Essendiléne. Bivouac at Essendilénne. 2h 30 of walk and then sleep in a bivouac.

Jour 3 Monday- Hiking day in Ver Ioualalaten – Guelta Touia area between canyons et cliffs, oueds and mountains, we will arrive at Ioualalaten, then Touia. 6 Hours of walk in total and we will spend the night in the bivouac.

Jour 4 Tuesday – Tikobawen – Tegleh Ekrer, discover of the Arch Tikobawen and Cathedrals of rocks, dunes and tours of Grès. Installation of the bivouac for the night. 6 hours of walk in total.

Jour 5 Wednesday– Geraf Amoud – Tassotarat, depart for the Pyramides of Tiwitatiren, 360° view of the dunes of Erg Admer. Visit of the grotto of Geraf-Amoud ( name of a Touareg Prince.) 5 hours of walk in total. Spend the night at the bivouac.

Jour 6 Thursday – Tekat-Entanoren, wonderful, beautiful landscapes : wadis, rocks and splendid view of the plateau n'Ajjer. Bivouac Tekat - Entanoren . 6 hours walking . Overnight camping.

Jour 7 Friday – Elakef-Tisras, early depart for a walk to the oasis of Djanet, across the Elakef (forest of stone). Visit of the oasis of Djanet and its museum, then Hammam.

Jour 8 Saturday – Transfer to the airport of Djanet around 1am, 03 h 15 flight to Algier, arrival at 05 h 30, transfer to the International airport of Algier for return flight.
