What makes this experience unique is to know from first-hand what UBA/FADU life is like, as an student and also as a teacher (I have been a teacher in this faculty for almost 16 years). And maybe if we are lucky enough, to enter a classroom and share a class.

Buenos Aires University has a long history that goes along with the country´s historical facts.

We will understand the reasons that led to choose this site far away from the city center. We will understand how Higher public Education in Argentina is public and free: the historical, culture and economic reasons that sustain it. We will see and feel its vibrant atmosphere and the scale of one of the Faculties of Buenos Aires University ( Architecture, Urbanism, and Design): how many students attend their classes, how they teach, what are the “Cátedras” and what kind of architecture is considered inside their classrooms. As for most of the new buildings in Buenos Aires city are from UBA graduates, it can be a way to understand how the city is.
