Discover the Patagonian Steppe DIS2

We will carry out this journey in off-road vehicles transiting the imposing landscapes of the steppe of Rioja. Natural interpretation walk and wildlife sighting.

Starting from your accommodation, we will go to the town of Villa Llanquín, we will cross stunning landscapes until we cross the Limay River with an old maroma raft and then enter the indomitable steppe. We will travel little traveled roads, colonized by the local flora and where only the wind breaks the infinite silence. We will stop at a viewpoint where we will make a short walk to enjoy an imposing view of Patagonia and discover the elusive local fauna.

Lunch time will reach us after saving some slopes, there we will enjoy an exquisite picnic lunch.

We will return to the route by a field footprint to meet again with the raft and the route we will travel to reach San Carlos de Bariloche in the afternoon.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Pass By: Limay River, Neuquen Argentina

We will cross the Limay River valley until we reach the raft crossing to enter the Patagonian steppe.

Stop At: Villa Llanquín, Río Limay, Cipolletti, Río Negro, Argentina

We will begin here our 4WD crossing to tour the Patagonian steppe in a circular direction. We will enjoy hiking and wildlife sightings and then enjoy an excellent picnic lunch.
