La visita incluye un paseo programado por una línea de tiempo hacia el pasado, desde los primeros humanos habitantes de la Patagonia argentina hasta la aparición de microorganismos primitivos. La sala correspondiente a la era Mesozoica, con los dinosaurios, es uno de los puntos que más atracción despierta en la exhibición permanente. Una proyección en el microcine completa el recorrido hasta el propio origen del Universo.
Continuando el viaje, a unos 15 kms. al oeste y sobre el margen norte del Río Chubut, se encuentra la localidad de Gaiman (Casa de Piedra), se destaca por ser el primer municipio de la provincia de Chubut. Después de un city tour por el poblado, para disfrutar de la arquitectura y bellezas del lugar, se visitará una de sus famosas casas de té galés.
En el valor de la excursión no está incluida la entrada al museo, el avistaje de toninas ni el té galés.

This tour starts early in the morning and visits Playa Union, where you can take a zodiac to go on a dolphins watching (optional excursion) which depends on the weather conditions. The trip lasts about

1 hour and a half.

From this port, we keep on going to Trelew where you have the possibility of visiting the MEF, a paleontological museum and research center. A tour guide will explain the history of the Patagonian paleontology, from the first humans inhabiting this region, to the past with the primitive microorganisms.

People are absolutely attracted by the Mesozoic display, with the dinosaurs and the 2000 fossilized pieces, exhibited at this exposition. At the cinema, you can enjoy watching a video concerning the beginning of the Universe and another documental registered by Attenborough explaining the last and most important discovery in Paleontology. As a part of the display, there is an original bone of the largest dinosaur in the world.

After this visit, we go 15 km. to the west, arriving to the welsh village of Gaiman, the first city of the province of Chubut.

After a city tour, watching the characteristic architecture, the river and its wheel mills, we visit a tea house.

The afternoon tea, is part of the welsh tradition, part of the local culture and also a tourist attraction.

The different tea houses, always prepare the famous welsh cake, or black cake as well as the creamy pie, apple pie, salty butter, different kinds of jams and scons trying on a delicious cup of tea. Tea service payment is not included.

Note; the itinerary could be modified according to the schedule of the museum, tea house and dolphins watching.

In case of cancellation of one of the services because of weather conditions, there is no retribution. The price of the tour doesn’t include the fee for the museum, tea service, dolphins watching.
