The original concept of Achával-Ferrer was always based on the Terroir and the channel chosen to communicate it through Malbec. The trilogy, which is the cornerstone of the winery, is composed of 3 edges that together give balance to the complex message that is sought to convey. From its beginnings, the winery pursues a path strongly marked by its obsession and respect for nature. The Italian roots, provided by Roberto Cipresso himself, have a fundamental contribution as an ideological foundation that was enhanced by group thinking, experience and winemaking results. Over the years the winery has developed different products that emerge from the experience and work in the vineyards. Development of special monovarietals, red wine made from raisins, special mixtures and olive oil among other examples. Today, the winery prints an unmistakable stamp on each of its wines, the result of years of coherence and joint work.

Melipal was founded in 2002 by Ignacio Aristi. The winery is located in the heart of Agrelo and is very well positioned in the external market, where 80% of its production is currently destined, with the United States, Brazil and Europe being its main destinations.
In 2019, the Russian holding SPI Group acquired the property with the objective to be able to expand the production of Achával Ferrer, Premium red wine cellar. Melipal has a tank capacity of 700,000 liters, but the winery is set to be expanded to a total of 1.2 million liters. In addition, the winery produces its wines that come from its 85 hectares where plantations with Malbec from the 1920s are found and from which it developed its Melipal and Ikella brands, of the highest range.
Lunch Restaurant "Tenute del Mondo", 5-step menu designed to match 5 wines (with a score between 91 to 95 pts.), One of them from the sister winery in Spain "Arinzano" + 2 Achával + 2 wines from Melipal.
