Puerto Madryn Punta Tombo the largest colony of Magellan penguins

This magnificent excursion to the penguin kingdom lasts approximately 8 hours and is offered between September and April. In the morning we depart south towards the Provincial Reserve of Punta Tombo, which houses the largest breeding colony of Magellanic penguins (Spheniscus Magellanicus) in the world. After an approximate journey of two and a half hours along the Patagonian routes (180 km), we arrive at the reserve.

The visit that will last approximately 3 hours, includes the path of the trails of this wonderful penguin and the impressive Interpretation Center of Punta Tombo. The facilities of the Interpretation Center include a Confectionery-Restaurant, baths and interpretive trails of the Patagonian winds. Lunch is free and is paid by the passenger.
In the afternoon, return to Puerto Madryn is undertaken.

Puerto de Madryn is an Argentine city on the coast of the northern part of Patagonia. Its sandy beaches and its coastal promenade full of restaurants face the bay of the Golfo Nuevo, where the southern right whales reproduce in May. to Dec The Ecocentro is a museum on a cliff with exhibits of the nature of Patagonia and a lighthouse-style tower overlooking the ocean. On the other side of the bay, the rocky Peninsula Valdés houses penguins and elephant seals, which are hunted by orcas.
