Stop At: Parque Nacional Los Glaciares, Avenida Del Libertador 1302, El Calafate Z9405AHY Argentina

We enter the world of glaciers on Route 15 (the old Estancias route) and from the Roca Lake National Park Sectional. We cross a valley that from El Calafate reaches the limit with Chile, showing glacial signs of 20 thousand years to some moraines of the last decade.
In proximity to Estancia Nibepo Aike we embark on the Guardaparque Fonzo boat to navigate the South Arm of Lake Argentino heading to the southern end where we disembarked. We then enter an unexplored site. A privileged hike to Frías Lake, a navigation in motorized zodiacs to cross it and finally the hike to the Grande glacier. A valley with changing environments to reach the amphitheater of the glaciers. There we had lunch watching the Grande, Cubo and Dickson glaciers. Taking into account the return, the trekking includes 6 hours and 14 km of crossing, with little slope and medium technical requirement. On the way back we share some mates, to resume the same Route 15, enjoy the sunset and the return having traveled a true timeline of the glacial era.
