After the departure from the hotel, a glacial valley is crossed and the trip ends its first stage at the Garibaldi Pass; which is the only highway crossing the chain of the Fuegian Andes, from the top of the Cordillera, the Escondido Lake will be sighted, a small wonder that will later be traveled from South to North along Route 3.
Near the northern end of Lake Escondido, the asphalt is abandoned and a tour begins along the old roads of a sawmill that soon become impassable trails for conventional vehicles and flow into Lake Fagnano.
Off-route tour and stops in the forest and the Fagnano Lake coast offer fun and enjoy the richness of the landscape. In the forest near the Fagnano coast there is free time to walk and explore while the guide prepares an abundant meal that is comfortably enjoyed in an exclusive refuge located in the middle of a natural environment.
