Historical Trail Rides

Historical Trail Rides is a horseback riding tour between two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Haghpat and Sanahin monasteries (10-13th centuries).
If you are new to riding, you will get a half-an-hour horse riding lesson, then you can take beginner-friendly trail rides that will teach you to walk and trot at the beginning of the tour. If you're a professional rider, you can experience the exhilaration of trail rides in naturally beautiful environments.

Itinerary

In Sanahin you will explore not only the ritual structures but also the library and the academy whose name is associated with prominent Armenian scholar Grigor Magistros. Your trail follows the traces of the ancient Sanahin road. In the beginning, you will ride towards river Archer, having crossed the river you will ride up to hillside village Haghpat to explore another UNESCO site.
