Berowra Valley is an incredible piece of wilderness which cuts right into the northern side of the Sydney metropolis. People have lived here since the Dreamtime. With a kayak tour and a boat tour included, this is a chance to get up close and personal with the wonderful wildlife. On the Kayak Tour, we leave all signs of civilisation behind, and push up the river. On the Boat Day we head down stream to explore an historic island, shipwreck, waterfall, a bush walk to a breathtaking lookout, even a cool dip in a secret pool. Learn about the indigenous heritage of the area, as well as the remarkable settler's history.

Unwind with a fire by the river, and get back to Nature.

Day 1: Kayak Berowra Valley

Day 2: Boat Day

Stop At: Bar Island Historic Site, Berowra Creek Hawkesbury River, Berowra Waters, Hornsby, New South Wales Australia
Explore the ancient Middens, see the ruins of the old church, and reflect on the cemetery which hold hundreds of graves of the early settlers.

Duration: 15 minutes

Join the mighty Hawkesbury river as the valley continues to widen

Stop At: Muogamarra Nature Reserve, Old Pacific Highway, Sydney, New South Wales Australia
Get out of the kayaks and hike up into the bush for an incredible lookout over the meeting of the waterways. A short hike up the path, or a longer hike up the spur through the bush

Option for lunch at this iconic venue, on one of the most beautiful bends in the river
