Adelaide Hills Day Tour- Winery Cellar Doors

Spend a day touring the beautiful Adelaide Hills visiting winery cellar doors and cheese tastings. Starting with our early morning visit to Penfolds first vineyard. We then travel to Udder Delights Cheese Cellar where a variety of cow milk cheese can be sampled. Udder Delights is passionate about making, sharing and eating cheese. Our next winery cellar door stop is Hahndorf Hill Winery to sample some of the Hills well respected wines. Optional ChocVino experience can be taken here and we can book ahead for you. Then it will be time for lunch at the Stanley Bridge Hotel then off to The Lane (vineyard) and sample the fresh clean flavours of the Block Series wines, or take a seat and try the Gathering Experience where specially selected wines can be tasted for a small extra fee. Next is Bird in Hand Winery for some of their local wine tastings. Last stop and to complete our day and freshen the palate is Wrights Cheese to try other types of cheeses including Buffalo Cheese.

Our early morning visit to Penfolds first vineyard. It’s located just 8kms from Adelaide CBD in the sheltered haunches of the Mount Lofty Ranges, making it one of the world’s few urban single vineyards.
