Canyoning is the perfect summer adventure and often involves a variety of activities including swimming, wading, jumping into pools (‘water-jumps’), abseiling through waterfalls, bushwalking and scrambling over rocks and boulders.

The grandeur and pristine beauty of the canyons almost defies description. Carved over millions of years by the relentless action of running water, these geological treasures are unique to the Blue Mountains of NSW.

The Blue Mountains are home to a number of world class canyons including Empress Canyon Falls, Fortress Creek Canyon, Wollongambe Canyon, Deep Pass Canyon and more. After speaking with you and getting a better understanding of your ability we will be able to match the right canyon to your ability.

Meet your guide at our Katoomba office in the morning at 8.30am before heading to the canyon. 

In the morning you will learn the fundamentals of canyoning from your experienced guide. We will enjoy some basic abseiling as well to get you comfortable with the equipment and skills. Don't worry, you will get to try lots of abseils as you hone your technique and gain confidence.

We walk past stunning scenery before arriving at the canyon where we have the day to play. Abseiling, swimming, scrambling and wading await. 

At the end of the day we return through beautiful scenery to our vehicle before arriving back at our office around 5.30pm.
