Test your skill on the high ropes course, ride on one of the four different zip lines, see the best views of Cairns on the Dome Climb, or take the plunge with our enthralling 13m Power Jump! There is something for everyone. Discover the sights and sounds of the rainforest right in the heart of Cairns at the Cairns ZOOM and Wildlife Dome. See native birds fly freely around you in the glass-enclosed rooftop dome, get eye-to-eye with Goliath the saltwater crocodile, and meet reptiles, snakes and koalas.

Enjoy a day out at the Cairns ZOOM and Wildlife Dome, the world's first high ropes course within a wildlife park. Perched high on the roof top of a building and offering spectacular views, this unique concept offers an all-weather wildlife exhibit.

Thrill seekers can truly get their fill, with a variety of adrenaline-filled activity for all ages and abilities. Our Mid-Zoom course runs 3m above the ground and has a range of exciting elements such as climbing walls, tunnels and ziplines. The larger Hi-Zoom consists are more complex obstacles and towers up to 12 metres above ground level. You even zipline over Goliath, our giant 4.5m Estaurine Crocodile! See sweeping 360 degree views of Cairns and the Coral Sea on our Dome Climb, which sees you walking on the outside of the Casino Roof. Those really seeking a thrill can try the Power Jump,  a enthralling 13m free fall adventure. 

All the wildlife is presented in natural settings and habitats, giving you the opportunity for close animal interaction and great photo opportunities. See the cuddly and furry koalas and wallabies, scaly snakes and crocodiles, and native birds flying freely around you. There are shows and keeper presentations throughout the day, providing an interactive and fun learning experience.

ITINERARY

Cairns ZOOM and Wildlife Dome optional activities:

Mid-ZOOM ropes course: Suitable for beginners; explore 24 different elements including a spider’s web, seesaw, chairs, and a snakes and ladders climbing wall.

Hi-ZOOM ropes course: A medium to hard level of difficulty, as some of the 32 elements are very difficult. You’ll traverse the swinging beer kegs, tyre wire, walk the plank, dodge ball and the Cargo net. There are three zip-lines of varying heights and lengths within the dome, featuring the adrenaline-pumping ride over the top of the crocodile pond, home to the enormous Goliath who is 4 meters in length.

Dome Climb: An internal walk around the top of the glass dome with views of the entire exhibit then make your way outside of the dome with an external walk with views of Cairns City, the Coral Sea and local mountain ranges.

PowerJump: A controlled descent device allowing participants to jump from the 49-foot-high (13-meter) platform.
