Much closer than the Blue Mountains and never obscured by fog. A short walk takes us to incredible views over valleys and to three incredible carvings unknown to locals.

Stop At: Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park, 1 Darkinjung Rd Corner of Peats Ridge Road, Calga, New South Wales 2250 Australia

Get up close and personal with koalas, kangaroos and emus in their natural settings! The wildlife park we visit successfully mimics the natural environment of these fascinating creatures, making this experience feel far less like a zoo and more like ‘a walk on the wild side’.

A stroll through the most beautiful beach-side village on the Central Coast. Admire the designer homes set amidst the lush, tropical environment.

Feeling thirsty? We drop in for a refresher at the Mediterranean styled Boathouse Hotel is located in the idyllic coastal town of Patonga, surrounded by the Hawkesbury River and Brisbane Waters National Park.

Stop At: Avoca Beach, Terrigal, New South Wales Australia

Welcome to beautiful Avoca Headland on the Central Coast. This is the real surfers paradise! This is a perfect place for coffee at a cafe by the beach. Or maybe a walk along the pristine beaches and headlands (for the more adventurous). Chat with local surfers and fishermen, or have a look for fish in crystal clear sea pools. Bring your swimming costume if it's warm!

Lunch is at a stunning waterfront restaurant overlooking the beautiful mangroves at Woy Woy, a beautiful little fishing village. It’s at this iconic landmark where we dine on award-winning local seafood.

A stroll across the road and we come to unique, 'alternative' shops selling exotic blends of coffee, crystals, ethical clothing and accessories - a haven for souvenir-shopping!

Broken Bay Pearls. It is only natural these pristine waters produce a more lustrous pearl than found anywhere else in the world. Unlike the pearls of Asia, the Broken Bay Akoya pearls are not bleached or artificially coloured. They are naturally lustrous, uniquely pure.

Our last food detour for the day! This local oyster farm supplies produce straight from the source. Sit back and watch the sun setting over the waterways, sampling oysters and prawns.

Stop At: Mrs Macquarie's Chair, 1D Mrs Macquaries Rd The Rocks Visitors Centre, Sydney, New South Wales 2000 Australia

Get your cameras ready!! Just before we leave Sydney, we'll stop at the iconic Mrs Macquarie's Chair. This is one of the best vantage points to view the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. The chair was carved out of a sandstone rock ledge by convicts in 1810. The bridge in the distance is what we cross on our journey to the edge of Sydney.

Stop At: Distillery Botanica, 25 Portsmouth Rd, Erina, New South Wales 2250 Australia

Time for a quick stop at a boutique distillery where an array of award-winning spirits and liqueurs are produced. Many of the ingredients are sourced from the flowers, fruits and herbs plucked straight from the distillery's amazing "fragrant garden".
