Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome Sunset Drinks with your Guide

Stop At: Fraser Island, Fraser Island, Fraser Coast, Queensland
3.00pm Check-in at the Mainland Ferry Reception at River Heads (courtesy pick-up from Hervey Bay available)
3.30pm Ferry to Fraser Island
4.20pm Meet & greet the Tour Guide and fellow travellers on arrival and check-in to accommodation. Sunset session at The Sunset Bar on Kingfisher Bay Resort’s beachfront (first drink on us).
(Please note that sunset drinks will be prior to room check-in during winter to allow for early sunset hour)
7.00pm Buffet Dinner at The Dingo Bar for lodge guests, pool table and drinks available at the Dingo Bar until late.

Pass By: Kingfisher Bay Resort, Kingfisher Bay, Fraser Island QLD 4581, Australia
Guests are welcome to arrive on an earlier ferry to Kingfisher Bay Resort eg 12.30pm ex River Heads and join their guide and fellow tour guests at the Sunset Bar at 4.15pm.

Guests have full access to all Resort facilities at Kingfisher Bay Resort, ie beach, pools, spa in pool, restaurants, bars, Day Spa, General Store and Art Gallery.

Meals included:
• Dinner: Aussie's can't get enough of a good buffet, so guess what's for dinner? Themed each night by our amazing chefs
Accommodation included: Wilderness Lodges at Kingfisher Bay Resort. All linen provided (sheets, pillows and cases, blankets and bath towels).



Day 2: 75 Mile Beach + Bush Tucker Experience

Stop At: Fraser Island, Fraser Island, Fraser Coast, Queensland
6.30am Buffet Breakfast at Dingo Bar
8.00am Tour departure (from the Dingo Bar)
Tour Highlights today: 75 Mile Beach, Maheno Shipwreck, The Pinnacles (Coloured Sands), Champagne Pools, Indian Head and Eli Creek (timing throughout the day may be altered due to tides)
Picnic lunch on tour along with afternoon tea
5.30pm Arrival back at Kingfisher Bay Resort
6.00pm Interactive Bush Tucker experience
From 6.30pm Buffet Dinner at the Dingo Bar
Wifi, pool table and drinks available at the Dingo Bar until late.

Stop At: S.S. Maheno, Fraser Island QLD 4581, Australia
Washed ashore during a cyclone in 1935, this rusting ruin is one of Fraser Island's iconic photo stops.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Champagne Pools, Waddy Point Bypass, Fraser Island, Queensland 4567 Australia
Walk down a short boardwalk with breathtaking ocean views and chill out at the only location on the eastern beach where saltwater swimming is allowed. Experience the waves meeting with the ocean rock pools to form the champagne bubbles we all love

Stop At: Indian Head, Fraser Island, Queensland 4581 Australia
Climb to the top of this rocky headland for awesome island and ocean views... look out for sharks, rays and migrating humpback whales (Jul - Nov)
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Eli Creek, Fraser Island QLD 4581, Australia
A great spot for a refreshing dip! Float down this fast-flowing freshwater creek using our inflatables. The crystal-clear water pours out 80 megalitres into the ocean daily
Duration: 40 minutes

Meals included:
• Breakfast: Start the day with a buffet breakfast. Make yourself the ultimate big breakfast or insta worthy yoghurt and fruit combo
• Lunch: Did someone say picnic lunch on the beach? Yes, please! Did we also mention there's no single use plastic
• Dinner: Aussie's can't get enough of a good buffet, so guess what's for dinner? Themed each night by our amazing chefs

Day 3: Lake Day + Rainforests

Stop At: Fraser Island, Fraser Island, Fraser Coast, Queensland
6.30am Buffet Breakfast at the Dingo Bar
8.00am Tour departure (from the Dingo Bar)
Tour Highlights today: Lake McKenzie, Central Station, Wanggoolba Creek and Lake Wabby
Picnic lunch on tour along with afternoon tea
5.00pm Return ferry transfer from the Resort back to the mainland.
5.45pm Arrival time back at River Heads, then courtesy drop-offs in Hervey Bay

Walk over Hammerstone Sandblow to beautiful emerald green Wabby, Fraser's deepest lake and a favourite swimming hole. It's so completely different to the rest of the island's lakes and a real favourite of ours

Stop At: Lake McKenzie, Fraser Island, Queensland 4581 Australia
With its white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters, picture perfect Lake McKenzie is even prettier than the postcards
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Central Station Rainforest, Fraser Island, Queensland Australia
No trains or whistles here - just peaceful, ancient rainforest and the reminders of a former, once bustling logging camp
Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Wanggoolba Creek, Fraser Island, Queensland Australia
Walk along the banks of this silent flowing creek with lush green rainforest and rare king ferns
Duration: 20 minutes
